They are designed to feed control and maneuvering applications in Very Low Voltage Safety Circuits (up to 50 Vac). They are circuit separation transformers with secondary voltage not higher than 50 v. with double or reinforced insulation between the primary and secondary windings. They can also be manufactured with galvanic isolation in installations for safety reasons.
