The PHONOVOX safety transformers are destined for feeding submerged spotlights for the illumination of swimming pools, fountains … etc. TP-16 Series are safety transformers with IP-65 protection rate that allows their installation both indoors and outdoors.

  • Protected against overloads and overheat by a built in thermal protector with self resetting system.
  • Fully encapsulated in polyurethane resin.
  • Polyamide box with fiberglass.
  • Degree of Protection: IP65
  • Class II.
  • Compression glands IP-65
  • Temperature: 40 ºC.
  • Insulation Class B (130 ºC).
  • Windings: Class H (180 ºC).
  • Dielectric Strenght ( Primary/Secondary): 3.500V.
  • Dielectric Strenght ( Primary/ Mass): 1.800V.
  • Galvanic isolation between primary and secondary.
  • Frequency: 50/60 Hz.
  • Primary Voltage: 230V AC
